It was Brandon's 30th Birthday yesterday, but we celebrated tonight, because Brandon has school Thursday nights. Can't believe he is 30! Seems like yesterday we were just trying to survive the terrible two's. He is now a great son, father, employee and student all rolled into one. I am so happy that he works so hard, so his family is taken care of and Looli can be home with their children. He is truly dedicated to work, schooling, church, and his family. We love you Brandon.
We always have help when we blow out the candles around here.
Benz got take a bite out of the cake. He had waited for that cake all day long!

New UPdate on BrenHam pictures.
We found this pretty little field on the other side of the street on the way up, so decided on the way back to get a few more pics. However my camera card was full and I didn't have a backup. (As of today I do!) I took these with my old Minolta, then proceeded to exposed the film. UGH! They are still not bad considering. I wish Brandon would have been there. Can you believe all my grandchildren are in one picture. I CAN"T! I know it's not perfect but a step in the right direction.
I spy something peeping in the flowers!

Brenham 2009
The Wallace Clan headed up to Brenham, Texas on Saturday for our annual pictures in the Bluebonnets. I will say the bluebonnets were more than disappointing this year. We decided to go to Old Baylor College where we have gone quite a few times, but the flowers were sparse compared to previous years. I took about 300 pictures, but only 150 made the possible category. Thank heavens for digital cameras.

We took pictures under the big oak with all of the grand kids. Here is our picture with Laynie.

AzAleAs!!!!
After a week of cold, rainy, drizzly weather, a few days of blue sky and warm sunshine brought back some familiar friends. They are one of my favorite things about living in Houston. Azaleas! They come in a lot of colors. The ones in my front yard are pink. They always remind me of the color of the cherry blossoms that lined the streets in our neighborhood in Utah. This weekend we will be headed up to Brenham, Texas for our annual pictures in the bluebonnets. Stay tuned more spring to come!!!

G7
Bri brought over a puzzle for us to solve the other day. We were both tired and it took awhile. We have been G6 (Grandparents of 6) for a couple months. Bri thought we needed to be G7 now! More for Guggy to be thankful for! Congrats Jarod and Bri. By the way, if it is a girl....Olivia Jane! Ike seemed to be happy with the news too! Hey, now Gavin, Laynie, Brynley, and hopefully Olivia will all be true TEXANS!!! YIKES!!!

RODEO RENDEZVOUS
Yes ONE crazy guggy, THREE cute moms, and ONE cute preggo friend decided to take 6 KIDS under 5 years old to the greatest livestock show in Texas. I can't believe we got a picture of all 6 grand kids at once. Bryn is in the cozy on Looli.
These cute little cowboys (girl) kept their hats on the entire time we were there. Bay loves her boots!
Gavin thought he had died and gone to tractor heaven!
The only time he gave us trouble all day was getting off the tractor.
He was so cute to watch!

We had to string Ike up by his heels a few times, but considering he had a allergic reaction to amoxicillian today. He was good.
3 kiddles in a tire.
Is your mama a llama? Benz's favorite. The petting zoo was incredible. So clean and so many animals.

Is it SpRing or is it fALL?????
Okay just looking at the tree in the front of our home it might get you to wondering... fall or spring???
Definitely spring, according to the little flowers blooming on the bushes. Our tree in the front yard, a live oak, would fool anybody not familiar with Texas. They lose their leaves in the spring not the fall. Weird, I know.
